HOW IT WORKS

Azadirchta indica: Neem has been reported to have wide-ranging activity like antihyperglycemic, anti-inflammatory, antimalarial, antioxidant, antiulcer, antiviral, and immunomodulation. Scientific research has proved the antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and, hence, antidermatophytic effects of different parts of the plant. Neem compounds have proven their potential in treatment of athlete’s foot, ringworm and candida infections. Recent studies revealed the antidermatophytic effects of neem compounds against various fungalgeneralikeMicrosporumTrichophyton and Epidermophyton that commonly cause skin disease. 

Andrographis paniculata: Also called the “King of Bitters” is effective against various microbes. Andrographolides the active substance present  in the plant are thought to enhance immune function such as in the production of white blood cells, to support the release of interferon, and to promote the healthy activity of the lymphatic system. Some scientists believe the herb may help in the fight against HIV and AIDS. It has an anti-inflammatory activity and is used in arthritis, and fibromyalgia.Andrographis is believed to be effective in the treatment of liver and gall bladder conditions such as viral hepatitis, jaundice, drug-induced liver damage, liver congestion and sluggish liver.

Psoralia corylifolia: This plant is used to treat a variety of skin problems, such as leukoderma, skin rashes, infections, and others. It is given the name “Kushtanashini” (leprosy destroyer). This is a very ancient remedy for leukoderma; it has been tried extensively not only by the practitioners of the Indian medicine but also by the followers of the Western system. The furanocoumarins, which contain psoralens, promote pigmentation. It helps fight vitiligo, a disorder in which patches of skin lose their pigmentation. It is used in the inflammatory diseases, dermatitis, and edematous conditions of the skin. It also alleviates boils and skin eruptions. The plant has blood purifying properties. It has shown to improve the color of skin, hair, and nails. Its water extract possesses antibacterial property. It is a good hair tonic and hence used in alopecia areata and hair loss.
