Description: This plant has long slender leaves which are green in colour. The inflorescences of this plant have many tiny flowers arranged in a group called spikelets. The wheat grains are developed from these spikelets. Wheat is best adapted to temperate regions with rainfall between 30 and 90 cm (12 and 36 inches). Winter and spring wheat are the two major types of the crop.

Properties: Wheat germ oil soothe the skin and moisturize the dry and chapped skin. It contains vitamin E oil, which is considered to be very good for the skin.
