Description: It is a rhizomatous, upright perennial which is most commonly grown as a culinary herb and/or ground cover. It typically grows to 2' tall and spreads by rhizomes to form an attractive ground cover.

Chemical Constituents: The main chemical components of spearmint oil are a-pinene, b-pinene, carvone, 1,8-cineole, linalool, limonene, myrcene, caryophyllene and menthol.

Properties: Relieves hiccough, flatulence as well as indigestion. Spearmint an excellent remedy to use in case of colds, congestion.
